The images from ‘Photosynthesis’ are included in Le Monde Hermes n°81, Maybe’s second issue conceived as a collection of notes, photographs and illustrations exploring the theme of lightness.
I love the images — which are absolute Hermès perfection — but within the context of Le Monde Hermes, the vibe is younger, more vibrant and casual. Fabulous!

Gabriela Hearst — unlike McCartney — is committed to using leather in her clothes because her supplier is credentialed by the EU and the leather is sourced from meat industry by-products.
Chloé used only recycled cashmere in her knitted sweaters and skirts. The barren ground on which the models are standing in these images is referencing this concept of overgrazing and a total depletion of the soil.
