Riccardo Tisci’s departure from Burberry is not unexpected — and none of the rumblings questions around Tisci’s design talent of vision. The question involved much more the continuation of his edgy and goth aesthetic at Burberry — the look that brought him great notoriety and success at Givenchy.
Most creatives and fashion writers don’t engage themselves in a brand’s financial performance. Loving a collection is all that counts. Choosing words that should not be misconstrued by readers, Vogue’s Sarah Mower queried the strategic wisdom of Tisci’s “border-free, non-nationalistic points of view.”
When AOC looked at financial performance under Tisci’s Burberry, clearly the brand basically treaded water. For every new Burberry customer, the luxury brand lost an existing one.

Rather than focusing on going down a dress size, modern weight loss plans focus on holistic health and wellness. The focus is now on cultivating healthy habits, using advanced nutrition and behavioral science insights so that weight loss is sustainable.

VS Pink CEO Amy Hauk says that neither the Hulu three-episode docuseries ‘Victoria’s Secret: Angels and Demons’ nor the summer song by JAX that spent several weeks in the top 100 contributed to the plunge in second-quarter profits. The song was created as a statement about the need for body positivity in the world of Victoria’s Secret’s negative influence on young women’s bodies at the hands of an old man [men].

Will the new heat shield withstand a searing 5,000 degrees?
"We are stressing Orion beyond what it was actually designed for, in preparation for sending it to the moon with a crew," said Cabana, last week. "And we want to make sure that it works absolutely perfectly when we do that."
Orion is the space capsule traveling on a 32-story rocket, and NASA intends to push it beyond every possible limit. With this mindset driving the mission, the team will take chances not possible with humans on board. One assumes that the dummy data will tell scientists if they lived or died.

We haven’t seen much of Osaka on the tennis court in 2022, although she has returned to play. There were sparks of excellence according to the New York Times, when Naomi Osaka was defeated by Coco Gauff 6-4, 6-4 on August 5 at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic.
