White Men's Warrior Tucker Carlson Gets the Boot at FOX News

White Men's Warrior Tucker Carlson Gets the Boot at FOX News

In a move that sent blaring-horns shockwaves through America’s conservative movement Monday morning, FOX News host Tucker Carlson was notified not to come to the office. Carlson’s senior executive producer Justin Wells was also terminated.

The LA Times writes that the decision to fire Carlson came straight from Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch. The newspaper further reports that Murdoch is concerned over Carlson’s coverage of the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection [our word] and his arguing that it was a conspiracy provoked by governent agents.

Carlson, 53. was the most viewed host on Fox with only the occasional Rachel Maddow presenting a relevant rival voice from other networks, based on audience size. Media Matters wrote:

“Tucker Carlson’s departure is great news for America [and terrible news for Fox.]

The firing comes days after Fox Corp, reached a $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems last week. Multiple outlets are reporting that the very damaging comments and actions by Carlson that showed up in the discovery process contributed to Fox Corp. severing ties.

In addition, fired Fox News producer Abby Grossberg has filed a discrimination lawsuit against the network and was fired shortly after. Grossberg was moved off of “Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo” and put on “Tucker Carlson Tonight’.

COACHTOPIA Scrappy Bags 'Think Different' and Sell Out on Coach Website

COACHTOPIA Scrappy Bags 'Think Different' and Sell Out on Coach Website

On the rarest of occasions, AOC wakes up to a significant new reality in fashion world, a radical process that turns everything upside down. Going foward, we will share the news by playing probably the most important marketing video ever to date ‘The Crazy Ones’.

Today, April 24, 2023 Anne of Carversville shares ‘The Crazy Ones’ worthy: COACHTOPIA.

A defining component of Coachtopia, Joon Silverstein, SVP, global marketing, creative and sustainability explained to Vogue Business, is that it is built as a “community” and has invited a “beta community” of Gen Z environmentally-conscious, individuals to collaborate and give feedback on Coachtopia concepts and products.

Emerging artists will be key players in future product drops and design collaborations.

Coach flipped its traditional production process on its head. Rather than a vision and a sketch, designers started with scraps on a cutting room floor. The handbags are made almost entirely from materials that were destined for landfill, with excess leather fragments arranged into vibrant floral patterns and zipper tracks repurposed into embellishments. The waste-forward products are a bid to transform the supply chain and move toward a circular industry, Coach says to all press inquiries.

Doja Cat Lands on TIME 100 The World’s Most Influential People List

Doja Cat stepped into that rare limelight of the new TIME 100 The World’s Most Influential People List.

Baz Luhrmann makes unusually flattering comments about Doja Cat’s talents and approach to project execution.

When she started to work on “Vegas” for ‘Vegas’, Elvis was relegated to a Halloween costume—he wasn’t influential to the younger generation. But Doja and her producer Yeti Beats understood the importance of translating “Hound Dog” for a new audience. For them, it was an act of translating the roots of Black music.

US Supreme Court Halts Texas District Court Ruling on Mifepristone, Appeal Proceeds

Today’s order halted both the Texas District decision and the procedural appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

For now, the abortion pill mifepristone will remain widely available, but it has a court date of May 17th for oral arguments.

Gov. Jay Inslee of Washington called the ruling a “half step in the right direction.” Washington is among the states stockpiling mifepristone — an estimated four-year-supply. “This dubious challenge to the availability of a safe medication never should have gone as far as it has, and it must be rejected entirely,” he said Friday.

The concept of ‘kindness’ is the biggest theme in her story, beginning with Shayk’s grandmother who never wore makeup but whipped up natural potions, using ingredients in the fridge. Irina reflects:

She was always so positive and grateful for every day and was like, “Always be yourself. Be kind to people.” That’s what true beauty is.

I mentioned on Wednesday reading a powerful Emrata interview in the LA Times, and that it was “a welcome jolt”. The minute I began reading Irina Shayk’s interview, my thoughts immediately went to Emrata.
