The arrival of the Versace [IG] Spring Summer 2026 campaign should be viewed as a moment in time and not a reflection of Versace’s branding strategy under the talented Dario Vitale.
With the closing of Prada Group’s acquisition of Versace, the departure of Dario Vitale, and the expected arrival of former Aiaïa creative director Pieter Mulier to helm the creative vision of Versace, the new campaign should not analyzed to death.
We know that Prada intends to remold Versace in more rarified air with higher price points. Versace pricing took a major climb upwards with the delivery of this Spring 2026 collection. We have little more to add — except that ‘back in the day’, Versus was created for a reason.
As for all the creatives involved in this campaign, there are three photographers: Frank Lebon, Steven Meisel and Tania Franco Klein.
W Magazine shares ‘For the Love of Fashion: Steven Meisel Shoots Fall’s Most Striking Looks’, zeroing in on fashion’s eccentric side. British model Jacqui Hooper and Sweden’s Signe Michaelsson are styled by Karl Templer in unconventional, sometimes quirky luxury fashion looks.
The legendary Steven Meisel [IG] shoots the often unconventional looks from Aläia, Burberry, Comme des Garçons, Hed Mayner, Junya Watanabe, MM6 Maison Margiela, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro, Marc Jacobs, Ponte, Prada, Sacai, Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, Sacai, Undercover, Yohji Yamamoto and more./ Hair by Guido Palau; makeup by Pat McGrath
French model Jeanne Cadieu is the perfect femme to cover the September 2025 issue of Vogue France [IG]. Cadieu is joined by model Ella Mccutcheon in a second cover by Karim Sadli.

Fendi Takes A Modern View of Roman Style in Fall 2025 Campaign by Steven Meisel
AOC loves Paris and the south of France. But we’ve been saying for many months now that it’s an Italian moment, and nothing — not even the king of cashmere’s current Italian sweatshop scandal — will dampen AOC’s love affair with la dolce vita.
Fendi’s fall-winter 2025 campaign film begins with a visual dose of sophisticated retro nostalgia, peppered with modern reinvention. In speaking with WWD about the fall-winter 2025 collection, Silvia Venturini Fendi stressed the reality that the fall 2025 collection presents “a contemporary and comprehensive vision of the brand”.
Fendi is also aiming to convey this modern message with ancient roots with the inauguration of a new sprawling flagship on Milan’s Via Montenapoleone.
Anne Is Swept Away
Depending on your age, the soundtrack will completely sweep you away. OMG! Barry White.
If you have lived a privileged life resulting from family heritage — or are a working girl who made good and led a privileged life based on your smarts — and you regularly kissed the ground landing in Italia, you will be swooning.
Personally, Anne is destroyed with this campaign video.
Bella Hadid's Memorable British Vogue June 2025 Interview with Giles Hattersley
In her British Vogue cover interview and fashion shoot, Bella is styled by IB Kamara in chain-mail from Etro and Balmain and embellished tulle from Dolce & Gabbana. Her silk crepe cover dress is Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello.
High jewelry comes from Chopard — for whom Bella is a global ambassador. Earrings and super bangles are from Alexis Bittar.
Clearly, Bella Hadid and photographer Steven Meisel [IG] have excellent chemistry.
British Vogue’s IG descriptor of Bella also resonates. Bella Hadid “gives a riveting glimpse into her complex inner self.”
It’s an indisputable fact that a peculiarity of constitution or temperament surrounds the process of interviewing Bella Hadid. She is an idiosyncratic human being, which is not a negative comment.
Journalist Giles Hattersley is superb in how he handled Bella. In one moment of the interview, Bella really stepped in it with Anne — who still can’t believe how Hadid played right into the hands of the Trump Administration trying to get rid of women in high places.
I beg her mother Yolanda not to let Bella go to Washington with her controversial views, as she suggested she wanted to do.
Zara celebrates its 50th year in business, putting Steven Meisel [IG] behind the lens, capturing fashion’s top models in a celebration of creativity, longevity and love for fashion.
Jason Duzansky acts as creative director on the campaign, with styling by Karl Templer./ Hair by Guido Palau; makeup by Pat McGrath
The 50-models ensemble is also featured on a special-edition tee that benefits the Women’s Earth Alliance [link]. The 128-piece collection created around the celebration features monochromatic wardrobe essentials with a lot of black which is obvious in the imagery. See the Zara 50th anniversary collection online.
AOC has done some homework on this 50 Years of Zara post, which is now subdivided into two parts: Part 1 here, focused on the models and their archives on AOC.
Part 2 focused on Zara’s new store design and product strategy. It also features other ZARA X MEISEL COLLABORATIONS.
The new Miu Miu [IG] 2025 Leathergood Campaign, starring Gigi Hadid in its initial release, immortalizes both the brand’s emblematic matelassé now presented in soft suede across the Wander and Arcadie handbags and the women who hold it in their hands. The color hues are delicious: chocolate, mustard, pistachio and fuchsia.
Technical execution by Steven Meisel [IG] creates timeless imagery inspired by classic high-society portraiture of the 20th century. Styling by Lotta Volkova; creative direction by Edward Quarmby.
Louis Vuitton Spring 2025 Campaign with Blackpink and Ronan Saoirse by Meisel
As much as AOC loves Louis Vuitton [IG], their ad campaigns can be ho-hum. The Spring 2025 campaign, shot by Steven Meisel [IG] with Louis Vuitton ambassadors Blackpink’s Lisa and actor Ronan Saoirse, is indeed worthy of fashion’s largest, omnipotent luxury brand.
Few luxury houses are associated with an illustrious name like The Fondation Louis Vuitton, the prominent art museum and cultural center located in Paris in the Bois de Boulogne.
Placing two gifted women artists like Lisa and Ronan, who are also Nicolas Ghesquière muses, in the presence of French conceptual artist Laurent Grasso’s artwork for a campaign shot by one of the world’s most celebrated fashion photographers Steven Meisel is a truly definitive statement for the Louis Vuitton Spring 2025 campaign.
Kaia Gerber's Vogue US December 2024, Marc Jacobs Cover Story Life Is a Grand Salon
American Vogue’s [IG] December 2024 issue is guest-edited by Marc Jacobs [IG], who turned to his close friend and former protegé Kaia Gerber [IG] as his Marc Jacobs cover girl. Photographer Steven Meisel [IG] captures Gerber, who has spread her career-girl self with unassuming but very wide wings into what Iowa calls a West Coast/East Coat elitist, snob-fest for pseudo intellectuals. For the record, Kaia Gerber is not that person.
A simple example of Gerber’s search of life’s opportunities was her appearance in the i-D Spring 2020 Icons Issue, interviewed by ‘Slave Play’ playwright and now good friend Jeremy O. Harris.
In a six-degrees-of-separation moment, Gerber notes in her Library Science book club interview below of Will Arbery that he is a friend of Jeremy O. Harris, whose ‘Slave Play’ production took London’s West End theatre culture by the throat in the second half of 2024.
Dana Spiotta’s interview ends on a high note, an evening at legendary The Chelsea hotel, with a Library Science [Kaia’s book club] event. One of Gerber’s favorite books is ‘Just Kids’, Patti Smith’s memoir of New York in the early ’70s.
This night the supermodel, actor, activist, and thoughtful human being was hosting readings by authors connected to the legendary Chelsea. One was Alexandra Auder, author of the memoir ‘Don't Call Me Home’.
Paris Fashion Week took a moment last week to toast Zara’s [IG] high-praise-worthy collaboration with designer Stefano Pilati [IG]
Announced officially in this old-school ad campaign with supermodel Gisele Bundchen and Pilati, lensed by Steven Meisel [IG], the hotly-anticipated Zara collection drops on October 3, 2024.
The fusion of Pilati’s forward-thinking design sensibilities and Gisele’s timeless elegance results in pieces that are both sophisticated and wearable. At the heart of the collection are structured blazers, emphasizing sharp, clean lines that are both powerful and feminine.
Top model Vivienne Rohner in styled by Marie-Amelie Sauve in ‘Con Total Transparencia’, with its emphasis on sensual skin revelation with sheer laces and fishnet effects from Chanel, Chloé, Louis Vuitton, Rabanne and more. When the National Portrait Gallery, London, reopened in June 2023 following a three-year redevelopment closure, its first exhibition ‘Yevonde: Life and Colour’ centered on British photographer Yevonde Middleton [1893-1975]. The art event, which focused on the sixty-year career of a paradigm-breaking woman photographer, was sponsored by The CHANEL Culture Fund.
With the release of its new 2024 Leathergoods Campaign, Miu Miu [IG] is also inspired by the British photographer Yevonde Middleton.
An ode to color, to femininity, to fashion and to feminism, Miu Miu celebrates its signature matelassé in images by photographer legend Steven Meisel with art direction by Edward Quarmby. Starring Gigi Hadid as a modern reflection of the Miu Miu persona styled by Lotta Volkova, the images focus on the Wander and Arcadie bags. / Makeup by Pat McGrath; hair by Guido Palau
Showstudio calls them “Steven Meisel’s Supermodel Sirens”, five women “dripping in crystals.” Top models Abby Champion, Fei Fei Sun, Imaan Hammam, Irina Shayk and Karlie Kloss join forces in the new S/S 2024 Swarovski [IG] campaign inspired by Venus, the Roman goddess of love.
In ancient Roman mythology, Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, emerged from the sea fully grown and adorned with exquisite jewelry. The myth tells of Venus being born from the foam created when the Titan Cronus castrated his father Uranus and threw his severed genitals into the sea. This act led to the sea producing the goddess of love and desire.
Zara [IG] drops its Studio Collection twice a year, with today’s Spring 2024 drop called Rêveries.
Real-world models include Fei Fei Sun, Nyawurh Chuol, rising model Rosalieke Fuchs and Vivienne Rohner. Are they pondering Betty Friedan’s life-changing book ‘The Feminine Mystique’ [1963] — but are not quite ready to tackle the deeply philosophical and life-unsettling Simone de Bouveoir treatise ‘The Second Sex’ [1949]?
Steven Meisel [IG] shoots the quartet in rich, mid-century midtones, sheerish blouses, cardigans and pencil skirts, complemented by interior furniture in sensual hues and slowly-increasing sunlight.
Designers Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana work with art director Fabien Baron and stylist Karl Templer to create a Spring-Summer 2024 campaign rich with high-class swagger, penetrating eye confidence, and an attitude that says “judge me at your own risk — because I will take you down.”
With Steven Meisel [IG] on photography, the images will have these ingredients because Meisel often plays high-low with his human subjects. As a result, there are layers of meaning and interpretation that seep out of the images and into our own minds. They are created to be mildly disruptive, another characteristic that makes them interesting and one that Meisel understands deeply.
What AOC loves about Dolce & Gabbana is that their garden is an Italian garden in the same way Loro Piana and Brunello Cucinelli are Italian gardens. But they are planting different crops growing in different parts of Italy and Sicily and Sardinia — from Rome to Milan to Florence and Venice.
Zara Studio [IG] channels Tom-Ford style, high-voltage glamour in a new Fall-Winter 2023 campaign with plenty of elegance and sex appeal.
We have well-executed model twinning from Angelina Kendall, Annemary Aderibigbe, Awar Odhiang, Ida Heiner and Nyawuhr Chuol and Sacha Quenby. / Hair by Guido Palau; makeup by Pat McGrath
Photographer Steven Meisel [IG] captures the black riches, sophisticated, night-scene fashion styled by Karl Templer with creative direction by Fabien Baron.
Reading about Sofia Coppola’s young-girl life, we learn just how much time the entire Francis Ford Coppola family spent away from their home in California’s Napa Valley.
Coppola is styled by Karl Templer in an abundance of Chanel Haute Couture in images by Steven Meisel [IG]. Additional luxury names include Dries Van Noten, Hermes, Prada, Schiaparelli and more. Spectacular jewelry is from Cartier.
Priscilla Presley is the focus of the younger Coppola’s new film Priscilla, in theaters November 3.
Millions of women can relate to the director’s reflection about her own young woman’s life. Pining for a young man who wasn’t interested in her, Coppola says she can relate to Priscilla’s short-term lack of need to develop her own self-identity because it was so much easier to be the girlfriend of some guy and assume his identity.
What a superb new Valentino Fall/Winter 2023 Black Tie campaign! It soars sky high in creativity and self-assurance with Kaia Gerber playing a role that defines the very concept of je ne sais quoi.
Kaia’s acting lessons are having huge impact on her self-expression in the last year.
Pierpaolo Piccioli’s vision of luxury for rebellious rule-breaking, smarty-pants fashion lovers with unbridled confidence and positive spirit is unmatched.
Gerber is boss as she struts around Huntington, Long Island’s Oheka Castle. Even the fact that the film is shot in New York and not Europe is a rebellious gesture that succeeds.
There’s so much going on in this film, and yet it does not feel overdone. We don’t lose our way because a confident clarity rules this audacious, beautiful, inspiring Fall 2023 Valentino Black Tie campaign.
Luxury fashion house FENDI merges high fashion with whimsical elements, presenting the Astrology Summer 2023 Beachwear Capsule Collection with a Mediterranean luxury flavor.
Artistic Director Fendi womenswear and couture Kim Jones chooses top model Irina Shayk to showcase the new capsule. Steven Meisel IG] — who has a full dance card this season — is behind the lens, creating a retro, 1960s travel poster vibe.
Luxury brand Louis Vuitton continues its summer getaway mood, moving from Friday’s post of Gisele Bundchen headlining Louis Vuitton luggage’s “Horizons Never End” campaign to this new Louis Vuitton azure blues fashion and bags focus with the “LV By the Pool Collection”.
Photographer Steven Meisel captures a saucy campaign spirit that only comes through with the video. Much of the collection is inspired by Azulejos tiles in tones of blue that also evoke open skies and ocean depths. These tiles are prevalent in Spanish and Portuguese architecture in cities like Lisbon.
LV by the Pool dropped into the Village of East Hampton, NY at 1 Main Street +1.631.561.0075, with ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories for women and men and home accessories.
Supermodel Gigi Hadid fronts a new campaign breaking Thursday for Miu Miu’s matelassé in two styles — the already-iconic Wander, and the newly-debuted Arcadie — lensed by Steven Meisel. [The photographer now has a very quiet Official IG page posting older images.]
For the first time — after taking a huge leap on Lyst’s hottest brands list in 2022, over their mini skirt — Miu Miu has the second place position. Mothership Prada has the top slot in first quarter 2023, after replacing Gucci in fourth quarter 2022.
The Wander [pouch] and the newly debuted Arcadie [rectangle] style in the signature matelassé series offer great promise to become new “pillars” of the Miu Miu bag category, following the iconic history of Miu Miu’s Pocket.
Florence Pugh, the talented English actress known for her roles in ‘Midsommar’, ‘Little Women’, and ‘A Good Person’, is the new face of luxury Italian fashion brand Valentino. The 27-year-old actor stars in a new campaign lensed by Steven Meisel called "An Encyclopaedia Of Feelings.”
Pugh showcases a range of emotions while posing with Valentino Garavani Rockstud23 bag, styled by Joe McKenna.
Piccioli chose Pugh as the new Valentino DI.VA (DI.fferent VA.lues) ambassador because of her authenticity, vulnerability, and fearless self-expression both on and off-camera. This collaboration is about sharing values and standing for the same things, rather than just focusing on aesthetics or numbers of social media followers.
AOC has written about the growing importance of a brand’s values for years now. In a recent discussion about Valentino, we spoke about the HENRYS with Heart: Luxury Brands Selling Democratic Values [[High-Earners-Not–Rich-Yet].
Bella Hadid greets longer days and brilliant sun as the face of Louis Vuitton 2023 sunglasses campaign, joined by Taiwanese singer, musician and actor Ouyang Nana.

Louis Vuitton taps six new talents and image-makers to its second drop in the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama 2023 collaboration.
Mega stars Australian actor Cate Blanchett and Amercan music artist Justin Timberlake, a ‘friend of the house’ but not an ambassador, are joined by South Korean actor HoYeon Jung, French actor Lea Seydoux, tennis pro Naomi Osaka and Chinese actor Zhou Congyu.
Photographer Steven Meisel is again behind the lens with Carine Roitfeld in charge of styling. Creative Director Ferdinando Verderi worked with makeup artist Pat McGrath to create henna-like tattoos on the faces and bodies of the talents that twin the artworks decorating their corresponding Capucines and Monogram handbags.
Yayoi Kusama will open her largest exhibition in New York on May 12. Her exhibition, titled “I Spend Each Day Embracing Flowers,” will include new paintings, sculptures featuring her signature flower and pumpkin motifs and a new Infinity Mirrored Room.
David Zwirner’s West 19th and West 20th street galleries will host the event.
A‘Spirited Romance’ swept through global cyberspace this week, as Zara Studio launched its S/S 2023 Campaign. The limited-edition, top tier of Zara’s spring offering inspires a spiritual pause on sleepless nights and digital frenzy.
Do you still remember the smell of fresh grass? Did you ever eat clover? How about just lying on on a blanket and seeing a sky so beautiful, it seems impossible that a climate emergency is at hand?
Models Annemary Aderbrigbe, Ava Christian, He Cong and Ida Heiner are the spring muses lensed by Steven Meisel. Frequent collaborator Fabien Baron acts as creative director in a moment where fashion swings back to sensual elegance and beautiful clothes, styled here by another Meisel-Baron collaborator Karl Templer.
There will always be contrived fashion around us, but the trend to clothes that we wear as honest pleasure — as opposed to them wearing us as artifice, an IG photo op and to feed some designer’s ego is real.
Fashion world got a major wakeup this morning with a preview of the January 2023 Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama campaign.
Yayoi Kusama, Age 93, Rolls Again with Louis Vuitton
LV makes a big move putting Gisele Bundchen front and center in a second, historical collaboration with revered Japanese creative Yayoi Kusama, one of the world’s pre-eminent artists at age 93.
“One of the aspects of her [Yayoi Kusama’s] work is happiness, and we thought it would be really refreshing after the pandemic to have the worlds of Vuitton and the world of Kusama meet again,” Arnault explained. The successful first collaboration between the two global giants happened in 2012.
Fendi [IG] has popped into New York City for a holiday celebration of the Winter Capsule 2022 - 25th Anniversary Baguette Collection. Located at 90 Prince Street in Soho, the shop will be open until December 23.
Created by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997, the baguette bag became a phenom attached to Sarah Jessica Parker and ‘Sex and the City’, who famously said “This is not a bag—it’s a Baguette.”
In addition to providing color inspo, the LVMH Tiffany & Co brand was brought into the anniversary celebration to provide diamond baguettes for the Fendi baguettes. The constant cross-pollination of the LVMH brands always adds an extra bit of verve to these events.
Master photographer Steven Meisel turns his focus to Tiffany & Co Rose Gold Eau de Parfum in a new campaign featuring FeiFei Sun. Trey Laird [IG] serves as Creative Director, fresh off his new campaign with ambassador Kim Kardashian for Stuart Weisman.
Joe McKenna works as stylist on the campaign, with Guido Palau on hair and Pat McGrath on makeup.
Inspired by diamond cuts and luminous metals, Tiffany & Co. Rose Gold Eau de Parfum features notes of fruity blackcurrant, delicate blue rose and a warm finish of ambrette seed.
Top models Achenrin Madit, Bella Hadid, Mila Van Eeten, Sora Choi, and Vittoria Ceretti come together in the streets of Brooklyn for the Ports 1961 [IG] fall-winter 2022 campaign. A top-tier crew comes together consisting of photographer Steven Meisel and stylist Karl Templer, with art direction by Fabien Baron.
Bündchen’s masterclass in bombshell-meets-earth mother glamour shut down New York’s Casa Cipriani lower Manhattan hotel. Styled by Edward Enninful and photographed by Steven Meisel, the images are stop-you-in-your-tracks fantastic. The storied establishment has witnessed its fair share of debauchery.
Nothing could have prepared the hotel for the 41-year-old Gisele Bundchen draping herself across a room service trolley wearing sequins and a ferocious pair of platforms. In the words of British Vogue, there are fashion shoots and then there are Gisele Bündchen fashion shoots.
We say Amen!
Supermodel Karlie Kloss; songwriter, singer and rapper Lous and the Yakuza; and new Louis Vuitton ambassador actor Millie Bobby Brown front the Spring-Summer 2022 Louis Vuitton sunglasses campaign, lensed by Steven Meisel.
The highly-anticipated Fendace collection — a powerhouse, experiment between two great Italian fashion houses: Fendi and Versace — will drop on May 12, with a worldwide series of events and pop-ups.
The business synergy between these two iconic Italian brands is producing astonishing results — given that they are direct competitors owned by two mega-luxury fashion houses. LVMH is the majority stockholder in Fendi and Versace is owned by Capri Holdings.
Photographer Steven Meisel undertakes an innovative project for Stockholm-based brand Toteme. Meisel first photographed Vittoria Ceretti in Toteme’s Spring-Summer 2022 Campaign. The artist also created life-sized and super-sized laser-cut flat sculptures, mounted with the campaign imagery. The entire presentation is then viewed across three rooms in person and also on the video below.

Author, Françoise Sagan’s work, serves as an inspiration in the creation of this collection. Her novel ‘Bonjour Tristesse’ was published in 1954 when Sagan was only 18 years old.
In May 2021, supermodel Naomi Campbell welcomed her first child, a daughter whose name will be revealed in Campbell’s upcoming book — that isn’t written yet.
Now nine-months old, the little one made her global fashion debut in the flesh, joining mom on the cover of British Vogue’s March 2022 issue.
“She loves the light," Naomi said about the British Vogue cover fashion shoot. "She’s inquisitive. She was looking at everyone – she looks at people right in the eye and for a very long time. She was taking it all in."
In her interview with Sarah Harris, Naomi explains that her daughter is a total “trooper”, who already has six teeth and all without a whimper. “She’s a good girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I’m told she’s very alert for her age. She’s just started waving, which is fun. She laughs a lot. She’s almost talking,” she says, adding, “I think she might walk before she crawls.”
On social media, the cover was the most liked cover of all time on British Vogue's Instagram account. In our world of social media millions, Naomi’s cover has 538,000 likes as of Saturday morning, Feb. 19.
Kaia Gerber returns to Ports 1961’s spring 2022 campaign, fronting a brand not nearly as staid as it used to be. “Silver sequins embroidered on a coat give the illusion of grommets, an example of the collection’s luxurious execution mixed with a fresh toughness, and in perfect synergy with Kaia Gerber’s confident spirit,” Ports 1961 tells the press.
Jeremy Scott puts together an all-star team for Moschino’s SS2022 ad campaign. Exuding the strength of character of the Louis Vuitton woman, House Ambassador Léa Seydoux showcases the Maison’s iconic Capucines bag. One of the Maison’s most sophisticated designs, the “emblematic bag is made to endure time, to become a soulful reflection of the woman whose life it accompanies.”
Shot by Steven Meisel, Seydous poses at the Fondation Louis Vuitton near artwork by Gerhard Richter. Styling by Marie-Amélie Sauvé, with art direction by Jason Duzansky; and set design by Mary Howard.
Unconventional, androgynous, top-tier American model Kristen McMenamy, now 56, covers the January 2022 issue of British Vogue., styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzelle in unusually lowkey, casual elegance. Photographer Steven Meisel captures McMenamy, who remains exuberant, stylist and provocative, in ‘Return to Splendour’.
Steven Meisel on photography, Fabien Baron on art direction and Karl Templer as stylist are in the house for the new Zara Studio [IG] campaign — a creative effort that sings like an opera star. It’s not often that we just look at images and in 5 seconds know the photographer behind them.
Add 10 models who aren’t wooden mannequins, and Zara Studio has — not a remarkable campaign in a fashion history sense — but a unique, superbly-executed campaign that knocks on the doors of women’s psyches with joy, inner convictions and backbone. it makes AOC want a campaign or fashion story with women all around the world roaring in unison.
We love it, and AOC tends to reject campaigns and fashion stories that are formulaic. So Zara, Meisel, Baron and Templer took 10 unique faces: Amar Akway, Chiharu Okunugi, Kirsten Owen, Marisa Berenson, Meadow Walker, Precious Lee, Raquel Zimmermann, Rianne van Rompaey, Sasha Pivovarova and Yumi Nu and mixed a grade AAAAA studio campaign. That IS NOT an easy feat. ~ Anne
Adele covers the November issues of both British Vogue and American Vogue. Across the pond, the jaw-dropping partnership puts Adele in the curatorial fashion arms of EIC Edward Enninful and the impeccable eye of master photographer Steven Meisel.
Adele’s attitude about the public response to her new image is “I couldn’t give a flying f**k” (about what anyone thinks of her image). Spellbinding glamour comes from within and not from Instagram likes. And the hair? Adele has found her inner lioness.
Up next, Adele rolls up the safari mat of her inner lioness for American Vogue, in a more subdued fashion story lensed by Alasdair McLellan. LOL, for just one precious moment — LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL! ~ Anne
French luxury brand Louis Vuitton, leading the pack as the most valuable luxury brand on almost every summer 2021 index, releases new imagery for its ‘Dauphine’ handbag. Models Liya Kebede and Rebecca Leigh Longendyke front the campaign styled by Marie-Amelie Sauvé.

WSJ Magazine’s Elisa Lipsky-Karasz lands a rare interview with Marta Ortega Pérez, daughter of Zara founder Amancio Ortega. One of Zara’s finest image-makers Steven Meisel photographs Ortega Pérez for the interview.
Mr. Ortega is the founder and controlling shareholder of Inditex, which owns Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Uterqüe and Zara. The latter clothing company holds a commanding presence in 96 countries — often in the same high-rent district as Cartier, Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton.
WSJ writes that the original Chanel jacket might cost $8,550 wile a similar one at Zara’s sells for $120.
Models Amar Akway, Chloe Oh, Jits Bootsma, Malgosia Bela, Mona Tougaard and Sofia Steinberg lead the parade of celebrations around Italian luxury brand Max Mara’s 70th Anniversary campaign. Actor and Golden Globe winner Emma Corrin, now famous for playing Diana, Princess of Wales in the fourth season of Netflix series ‘The Crown’ fronts Miu Miu’s Fall 2021 campaign ‘A Brave Heart’.
Steven Meisel [IG] shoots the campaign as a series of quietly confrontational, honest images in which Corrin — representing the female collective — shares a series of quiet questions, silent communication, everyday anecdotes and recollections.
Models Rianne van Rompaey, Akon Changkou, Ida Heiner, Jade Nguyen, and Ashley Radjarame appear in these genuinely “hey, I like these play clothes” images for Louis Vuitton’s ‘Summer by the Pool’ collection. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière’s gradient printed, popsicle-colors, monogram pieces are smile-worthy, real-deal fashion therapy in studio images by Steven Meisel.
Legendary photographer Steven Meisel delivers another fashion-lover’s, heart-racing set of visuals with his new Zara Women Spring Summer 2021 Campaign. The Green team will be thrilled, as the Meisel crew is again working remotely and not spewing carbon and jet fuel all over the planet.
Equally important is the reality that no one in his or her right mind can make the argument that the images would be better if the entire Meisel ensemble was in the California desert.
Models Achenrin Madit, Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, Julia Nobis and Yasmin Wijnaldum are real-life versions of their Moschino spring/summer 2021 fashion show marionettes.
