De Armas is receiving rave reviews, except for the disgruntled few who detect the Cuban accent the Latina has worked so hard to eliminate in the film. ‘Blonde’ is based on a fictitious portrayal of Monroe in the novel, and we want the haters to keep quiet. Marilyn Monroe is a symbol for all women, not a select few.

It’s the only way they can guarantee that their main points are in the headlines, and not dead on the editorial floor in a world of clickbait.
Adele doesn’t control her cover story interview with Emma Carmichael in the September 2022 issue of ELLE US. Of course, we don’t know the terms of her exchange with Carmichael and signoffs before the interview went to press. It’s stands as a masterpiece, in AOC’s opinion.

I know we are all very rattled over the anti-trans legislation in red states, but then Roe got shot down, too. AOC’s activism is very focused on Christian fascism and white nationalism in this moment. The end of our imperfect democracy is in sight — if we don’t fight this back by the 2024 election.
People I respect say “It’s do or die time,” and they are not exaggerating.
