/Reality star businesswoman Kylie Jenner [IG] is the face of footwear brand Sam Edelman’s 2024, 20th year anniversary campaign. Chris Colls [IG] captures a sultry Jenner with creative direction by David Lipman.
WWD writes that founder Sam Edelman discovered Colls recently, when he saw Chris’s images in the late August 2023 ELLE France feature with Gisele Bündchen.
Edelman called his CMO and Lipman, saying the words that are music to every photographer’s ears. “I’m crazy about Chris.” That was the last word on photographers, and Colls was booked.

/Stockholm-based fashion brand Acne Studios [IG] sees double in its Fall Winter 2023 denim campaign. Put Kylie Jenner [IG] and her 399M IG followers in the campaign mix; hire Dutch photographer and director Carlijn Jacobs [IG], schedule the meet up in Los Angeles and let the good times roll.
Jacobs explains the double-trouble pleasure of having Karlie in the campaign. “The campaign sought to showcase Kylie as a woman who is in control, has love for herself and is unafraid to embrace her desires,” Jacobs said in a statement. “I aimed to celebrate her individuality by doubling her. She loves herself and is not afraid to show it.”
Reading the Acne Studios’ new sustainability report, which includes very specific information on its denim made in Italy, the report says that in FW22, 70% of the 5-pocket denim had 70% low-impact. I just wish that if these fantastic finishes are in the 70%, that someone would tell us in the product info.

/Kylie Jenner [IG], with 389M IG followers, takes a mermaid-worthy immersion into the world of Jean Paul Gaultier for the brand’s new “FLOWERS” IS OUT campaign.
Many people haven’t recognized Kylie Jenner because of her mermaid hair. Photographer Elizaveta Porodina [IG] is behind the lens. See the collection online. French artist Jean-Vincent Simonet collaborated with the design team on the "liquid" print of flowers fabrics.
At a collection launch event at The Webster in New York on Tuesday night, Jenner wore the Simonet flowers printed on a lingerie-inspired, nude tulle, long sleeves body slip.

Jenner shared the campaign with her 280m IG followers. That’s called reach!
As for the Kardashian women being cheap, I’m sure that Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce have paid a premium price for their prior insults against the family. Given the full range of their business savvy, the Kardashian women know their worth.
It wouldn’t surprised me if Mama Bear Kris Jenner added a 3-5 years, 5-10% penalty to the contract, right before their disbelieving eyes.
Cuz that’s how the Kardashian women roll, and AOC admires them for their moxie.

Kendall is the last sister to collaborate with Kylie, and the collab dropped on June 26. Announcing the campaign on social media, Kylie called Kendall her SOULMATE, as both women steamed up digital screens in their Fleur du Mal lingerie. The photography is even carried on to the packaging, which is very impressive given the price points.
