/Tiffany & Co [IG] unveils its holiday 2023 campaign, shot in Manhattan against the glittering lights skyline with house ambassador, businesswoman, and creative director Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and China brand ambassador, actor Elaine Zhong.
Lensed by Alasdair McLellan [IG], the photoshoot also takes place at a Manhattan townhouse.
The Tiffany & Co. 2023 holiday campaign honors house designs including Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird On a Rock spectacular pieces and the brand’s beloved Lock collection.
Tiffany Bird on a Rock Collection
First introduced over 50 years ago, the Bird on a Rock remains one of the house’s most coveted collections.
The setting was originally designed in 1965, after Schlumberger encountered a yellow cockatoo that inspired his brilliant imagination.
This striking Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co.™ Bird on a Rock suite worn by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley features oval morganites of over 35 and 65 carats, respectively. Introduced by the House of Tiffany in 1910, morganite is most often married with diamonds by the house.
Tiffany Lock Collection
The first example of a padlock motif in The Tiffany Archives is a brooch in the shape of a padlock with a key. Crafted by Tiffany artisans in gold and steel, it was gifted by an adoring husband to his wife in 1883 and is engraved with the Latin phrase “Fide et Amore,” which translates to “With Faith and Love.”
140 years later, Tiffany Lock celebrates the origin of the House’s padlock motif and its representation of lasting love.
Model Imaan Hammam and skateboarder Tyshawn Jones starred in the fall 2022 ‘Lock’ campaign, revealing a new modern design and genderless approach to the collection.
“It’s all about unity, belonging, the universal bonds that tie us together forever—and the open-minded spirit of today’s generation,” Alexandre Arnault, Tiffany’s executive vice president of product and communication, said about the 2022 release.
“The design of Tiffany Lock is a great example of a collection that brings together innovation, form and function. We re-envisioned the idea of a padlock, an important motif from the Tiffany archives, and transformed it into a symbol of unbreakable bonds and inclusivity. The unique mechanism, clean lines and modern aesthetic make it universally appealing to both men and women,” Arnault summarized.
