“To do Blue Book again in New York, it goes back to tradition,” Ledru said, pointing to Tiffany & Co.’s sweet spot — in line with the jewelry houses of Europe — of the brand’s deep patrimony, but with a uniquely American point of view. And in modern terms, New York is the brand’s number-one market for high jewelry in volume and number of clients, Tiffany CEO Anthony Ledru Ledru reported about the decision to stay at home with the launch of the new high jewelry collection.

To be honest, the Tiffany sales force in New York is not feeling the LVMH-owned vibe and moral has been depressed for months. Sales associates with established client lists are highly desirable within the luxury industry. Reports indicate that competing jewelers like Cartier and Harry Winston have successfully recruited Tiffany salespeople in large numbers, attracting not only the employees but also their valuable clients.

It’s just one more reason for Tiffany & Co to debut Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder at The Metropolitan Museum of Art against the backdrop of its newly-acquired stained glass window designed by Agnes Northrop for Tiffany Studios. And these art pieces are so gorgeous, they deserve their own post.

Inspired by the gentle sway of underwater botanicals, each diamond and unenhanced Zambian emerald is meticulously placed in a setting crafted to evoke movement. Brought to life through Nathalie Verdeille’s masterful vision, the design captures the spirit of the sea—fluid, vital and eternally evolving.
