Louis Vuitton Bravery II High Jewellery Is Unadulterated High Art
/The second chapter of the Louis Vuitton Bravery II high jewellery collection — commemorating 200 years since the birth of Louis Vuitton, who ultimately created the world’s biggest luxury brand — launched in Paris during Haute Couture Week.
Locks, studs and clasps connect the 20 pieces that make up the mostly polychromatic line, which is structured around four themes: Le Multipin, Le Magnétisme, La Mini Malle and Cocktail Rings.
Full of color, clean lines and symmetry, the collection boasts stand out pieces such as the Mini Malle ring, a diamond centric cocktail ring reminiscent of a signet ring.
These breathtaking new jewelry pieces follow the Bravery Chapter I release in fall 2021 with a collection that focused on Louis Vuitton’s original journey walking from Jura, France to make his name in Paris at just 14 years of age.
After serving first as an apprentice trunk maker, with a keen eye focused on watching travelers, the determined entrepreneur created the world-famous Louis Vuitton travel trunk in 1854. Louis Vuitton Bravery I high jewelery was inspired by this life journey.
Top model Edita Vilkeviciute presents Chapter II designs that pay homage to Louis Vuitton’s magnificent trunk and its iconic features. Adorned with a wealth of unique stones, the locks, studs, and clasps from the Louis Vuitton trunk are transformed into timeless jewelry pieces with maximum visual but modern grandeur.

Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director for Watches and Jewellery, says:
“The Bravery collection is a metaphor for Louis Vuitton’s life. In the first chapter, unveiled in June 2021, we presented the different stages of the journey he undertook. Now, we are celebrating the highlight of his career – the invention of the iconic trunk and all its distinctive characteristics.” The Magnetisme necklace brings together all the codes that have inspired this collection. The metal tips of the trunk are interpreted in yellow gold and the diamond patterns between the tourmalines, while the square clasp is transformed into an incredible 20.29-carat yellow sapphire suspended by a symbolic V-shape set with baguette-cut diamonds.
The V can be detached and worn on its own as a singular statement piece on a special chain designed for this use.
Francesca Amfitheatrof, the house’s artistic director for watches and jewellry leaves us speechless with the Le Multipin necklace. Studded with more than 100 colored stones—pink and green tourmalines, citrines, aquamarines, tanzanites—set in three rows, the necklace comes together on a rare 42.42-carat lagoon blue tourmaline, designed to resemble the Louis Vuitton trunk closure.
This necklace isn’t only high jewellery. It’s high art. Absolutely stunning, modern yet aristocratic high art. There are no words to describe this creation.
Transformability and Metamorphosis
Most pieces in Bravery are transformable and can be worn in multiple ways. The epitome of versatility and the spirit of Bravery is the Mini Malle Sautoir necklace, which breaks down into two diamond chain bracelets and a choker.
