Lopez was also the star of GUESS’ spring 2018 campaign and was caught in the swinging door of attending a Los Angeles launch party the same day Kate Upton went public with her accusation that GUESS co-founder Paul Marciano used her GUESS position to "sexually and emotionally harass women."
Marciano resigned as executive chairman after sexual harassment accusations by a total of five women. He has continued in his position as creative director.
In May 2019, the 2020 Super Bowl halftime performer joined forces with the brand in a "multifaceted partnership" for her "It’s My Party" concert tour. Guess designed official concert merchandise for the tour, and Lopez's backup dancers wore the label.
