In 2019, Prada introduced Prada ‘Re-Nylon’, a bag collection made of regenerated fabric consisting of recycled and purified ocean plastic, fishing nets, landfills and textile-fiber waste.
Pre-pandemic, Prada’s current goal was to convert all its virgin nylon products to regenerated nylon by the end of 2021.

I ADORE this V Man #45 ‘Face Off’ fashion story because 1) we really see the clothes and styling but 2) there’s a whole lot of artistry going on that 3) probes ancient mythology and masks, making it culturally interesting and 4) with models — in this case Jean Augnet (aka Jean-Désiré) (IG) and Zack Tidswell (IG) — who know how to pose and move. With that in mind, the duo cast a range of up-and-coming models including Anania Orgeas, Grace Valentine, Otto Zinsou, and Priscillia Ressem. “I organized the shoot in order to be able to improvise depending on the personality of the person, the style and the jewelry,” says Guirkinger, who shot in a studio and on location in Paris for the December 2020/January 2021 issue of WSJ Magazine.
