Vogue Adria operates under a partnership between Condé Nast and Media 3.0 Publishing. The print magazine will be published in Croatian and Serbian, and the online edition will be additionally available in Slovenian and English.

Media 3.0 was founded by Sonja Kovacs, Nenad Janjatovic, and Milan Djacic. According to Business of Fashion, “Kovacs’ previous leadership roles in media include editor-in-chief of Elle Serbia, and regional editorial director of Elle, Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan and National Geographic, while Janjatovic and Djacic served as creative director and fashion director of Elle Serbia respectively. Djacic was also Elle Man Serbia’s editor-in-chief.”

Welcome to Adria

The region of Adria in southeastern Europe — the focus of our new Vogue debut — includes countries such as Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.

The region geographically includes the Alps, the Danube-Carpathians and the Mediterranean.

Former Yugoslavia Unravelled

Each of these nations contributes unique elements to the region, blending together to create a rich tapestry of traditions, languages, and identities. Some countries have been enemies in the past — especially under the national identity of Yugoslavia, a country that existed from 1918 to 1992, following WWI.

Albania never existed under the identity of Yugoslavia, but it had close ties and aligned itself with the Soviet Union and other communist countries in Eastern Europe.

Today Albania is considered to be the most pro-EU country and pro-Western among these smaller nations.

Jared Kushner Arrives to Build

Adria's coastline along the Adriatic Sea boasts beautiful beaches and historic cities, attracting visitors from around the world. Despite its past conflicts, the region of Adria continues to evolve, preserving its heritage while embracing modernity and the promise of a peaceful future.

Jared Kushner and his Affinity Partners are leading the way to develop luxury hotels in Albania and other parts of Adria. Reuters writes about Kushner in Serbia, where Affinity plans to finance a luxury project in central Belgrade that would include a hotel, apartments, shops and office spaces on the site where the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) headquarters stood until 1999 when NATO bombed it as part of an air campaign against Serbian atrocities in Kosovo.
