Of all the top luxury brands Dolce & Gabbana has always defined itself as a sensual brand for sensual people. Versace also lives in that space but the Dolce & Gabbana path in recent years has a modern elegance footprint that feels more Diana Vreeland in aesthetic.
The brand remains bold but in a 1950’s-1960’s footprint.
At the beginning of 2022, the Italian fashion house revealed that the brand intended to end its licensing deal with Shiseido, taking Dolce & Gabbana’s fragrance and beauty lines (founded in 1992 and 2009 respectively) in-house.
In September 2023 Dolce & Gabbana Beauty released a fragrance named Devotion. At the end of 2023, the brand carved out a space for its fragrance and beauty products in its flagship London store on 6-8 Bond St.

But looking at the new ad campaigns against this fashion story in presents a very cohesive visual identity for Dolce & Gabbana.
The new alta moda images requiring an upload will demonstrate just how tightly defined the Dolce & Gabbana vision has become. Keeping its sensual edge, the brand seems to be moving towards a refined sensual identity woman — the sexy side of a Loro Piana woman or Brunello Cuccini lover.
