Gigi Hadid stars in 'Welcome to Hotel Hennes! A Camp Film By Bardia Zeinali

Gigi Hadid’s Life in Overdrive

Gigi Hadid is the concierge of our lives now and into the future, living life Chez Hadid style, with her infectious, warm and upbeat spirit. Gigi is the concierge in charge of Hotel Hennes, location of H&M’s newest spring into summer 2022 campaign. The clothes are available online and in stores April 28.

Next stop is Gigi’s Netflix reality show ‘Next in Fashion’, where she joins stylist Tan France in the second season, replacing fashion guru Alexa Chung. Hadid had a trial run as a guest judge in Project Runway in 2021.

The series will feature aspiring fashion designers up against each other in weekly competitions, designing for the winning title. The winners of the series will receive a magnificent prize fund of $250,000 and the chance of a lifetime to create a premier collection with the luxury retailer Net-A-Porter.

Lastly — besides being a great mom to daughter Kai — Gigi is working on her own clothing line. With 73 million Instagram followers waiting to support Gigi’s creative efforts, the world is her oyster.

This last venture promises to unleash what is always described as Gigi Hadid’s super-organized, no detail goes unnoticed, she’s in-charge calm self. And with a smile on her face!

Hadid’s collabs with Tommy Hilfiger come to mind, but news of her backers is in lockdown. She dropped the little bombshell in a Vogue interview last week, and not even WWD has picked it up with further clarification.

Gigi Hadid Invites Us to Hotel Hennes

Gigi Hotel understands hotel life, and she’s on a roll at H&M’s Hotel Hennes, with its over-the-top cast of characters and madcap adventures. Iranian-American videographer Bardia Zeinaldi, maker of fashion films for Vogue with Bella Hadid and music videos for Ariana Grande, creates a super-delightful, hotel-romp, big-smiles [even for hardened-hearts fashionistas] film.

Hadid greets Jill Kortleve, Precious Lee, Devyn Garcia and more through a rapid-fire sequence of total camp, over-the-top style moments worthy of a Gucci film on steroids.

“I knew whatever world Bardia was taking us to would be incredible,” Hadid shared on the phone, speaking with Vogue from New York. “[There’s] this message that everyone can be motivated to get back out in the world and find those moments that make life magical and unexpected.”

Other cast members include models-turned-bellhops Jazzelle Zanaughtti and Kiddy Akita Lou; newly checked-in holiday-makers, Isabelle Chaput and Nelson Tiberghien of the Young Emperors. Model Olivia Vinten holds our attention, as the Head of Housekeeping; dancer and content creator Donté Colley as the Head of Glow-ups; editor Julia Hobbs as a fashion journalist; and content creator Christina “Tinx” Najjar as the Hôtel’s receptionist.

H&M describes the campaign film as “a fictional fashion destination, inspired by legendary art hotels, where artists, thinkers and icons hung out, collaborated, and completed residencies. It is a place where aesthetics are exaggerated and experimental, where stories can twist and turn, where dreams are made, and where fashion has no rules.”
