Can Women's Tears Depression Aggression As Well As Libido?

Women’s Tears Depress Testosterone & Libido in Men AOC Health

Human tears contain behavior-altering compounds called pheromones. In a first of its kind study, men smelled vials of women’s tears and a control group saline solution. The tear smellers not only found the faces of women less attractive, but brain scans recorded a loss of desire and activity in that part of the brain associated with sexual arousal.

Researchers are testing next the reverse situation of the impact of men’s tears on women and also other men. It’s hoped that tests will also measure whether oxytocin levels went up, as testerone declined. Oxytocin is the bonding or cuddling hormone.
