Top model and talented actor Cara Delevingne talked details of her sobriety journey in yesterday’s interview with The Sunday Times July 7, 2024 issue.
Writer Vassi Chamberlain recalled meeting the mischievous Delevingne for the first time at her aunt’s wedding in 2001. It’s unlikely she was prepared for Cara’s response.
“You know I got drunk that day,” she says. “I was eight, what a crazy age to get drunk.”
The Delevigne sisters are daughters of their famous mother Pandora Delevingne, who first used heroin days after her 18th birthday. One assumes that being diagnosed with a serious bipolar condition, coupled with drug use presented very big challenges for Pandora’s daughters.

Cara shares that traditional therapy has never worked for her — although she has tried everything including the Alcoholics Anonymous’ 12-steps program. In Cara’s case, seeing her yoga instructor Colin Dunsmuir — with her for 12 years —via Face Time three times a week has brought very solid results.
‘Cara Loves Karl’ is the newest collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and those who loved him. In the September 2022 collection, Karl’s disciple is multi-hyphenate Cara Delevingne.
Tailoring is key throughout the gender-neutral, sustainable collection, which includes tuxedo blazers, suitings, shirting, and sleeveless, puffy vests. In addition, there is outerwear, as well as white shirts, denim items, and t-shirts with logos printed on them.
Cara Delevingne made the collection inclusive, with sizing ranging from XXS to XXL.
