Brunello Cucinelli Sales Increase 10%, Profits 13% in 2024
Brunello Cucinelli went public in 2012 and its capitalization has grown from €530 million to €6.5 billion. Regarding his commitment to restoration in the region, the designed said “I firmly believe in the duty to preserve this legacy,” says Cucinelli.
“In losing our memories, we would lose ourselves. Moreover, safeguarding history means giving substance to the future.”
On April 16, the cashmere-rich business announced confirmed sales growth of around 10% booked in 2024 and a 13% increase in profit. 2025 is going strong, with a 10% increase in the first quarter. Even facing tariffs in America, the designer, philosopher and civic leader is holding at the 10% 2026 projection.
The Americas accounted for 37 % of the brand’s revenues in 2024.
An Honorary Doctorate in Architecture
Earlier in 2025, fashion philosopher Brunello Cucinelli received an honorary doctorate in architecture for restoring his Umbrian village Solomeo. “When we build, let us think that we build forever,” the designer said, quoting English polymath John Ruskin. The address came in his address as the first recipient of an honorary doctorate in ‘Design for Made in Italy: Identity, Innovation, and Sustainability.’
Cucinelli was honoured at the University of Campania by a group of universities and specialists in the field of architecture across Italy. The Cucinelli family does not believe in putting their name on plaques, but their influence is widespread around Perugia, capital of the region.
