Miranda Kerr Delivers Beauty, Grace, Caring, Intelligence to Marie Claire Australia
/Miranda Kerr needs no introduction, but the founder of KORA Organics and mother of four sons — three with now husband Evan Spiegel and one with ex-husband Orlando Bloom— dons a strawberry blonde wig for her Marie Claire Australia [IG] April 2026 cover story. It’s a perfect color for this fashion story in an issue devoted to Women in their Power!
It’s a WIG, people; calm down. Julianna Alabado styles Kerr in A.W.A.K.E. Mode, Dior, Fendi, Hermes, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, The Row, Tove and more. Greg Swales [IG], shot Kerr in Los Angeles, her primary residence./ Hair by Ericka Verrett; makeup by Nicole Konovaloff
Speaking of Swales, his paintings look stronger to me every time I stop by his IG. To say nothing about some of the world’s most famous women, who choose him repeatedly as their photographer. At their level, these women usually have a veto or ‘yes’ vote in the choice of photographer. Some tell the magazine who will be their photographer.
Contrary to what you might think, it’s not only a photographer who exposes every inch of their dazzling beauty. It’s s[he] who captures their essence in some way. Their inner beauty or to be REALLY direct these days — their values. Miranda Kerr is up front about her own values in her Marie Claire interview and how they operate in family life. This near provocation position matters in a world under great stress — especially in America
KORA Organics
Miranda Kerr launched her certified-organic, beauty and wellness KORA brand in 2009, following her mother’s cancer diagnosis. The Aussie beauty and famous Victoria’s Secret model self-funded the ‘clean’ brand with her own earnings, which is a testament to the reality of Victoria’s Secret models being uniquely well-paid in its glory days.
“My mom would say to me, ‘Look, modeling could stop tomorrow, so save every penny and you'll be able to invest in your own business one day.’”
“Certified organic wasn't just because I wanted to use healthy products, I wanted to use really powerful, highly effective, healthy products,” Kerr told Forbes in 2021.
The inspiring entrepreneur, who invested wisely in her future, didn’t even know if such products were possible 20 years ago.
“I worked with organic chemists for three years developing KORA, and then we just launched at the end of 2009 in Australia. At the time, I was working crazy hours and traveling around the world—it was like a hobby project.”
The Kerr-Spiegel Marriage
Over the years, reading about the marriage of Miranda Kerr and Ivan Spiegel, their union reminds me very much of the similar synergy between Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian. I just asked Gemini if there are parallels between the two men, and the list is so long, it warrants a separate post.
Miranda Kerr is interviewed by Eugenie Kelly via Zoom.
An example of how Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel remind their kids of their privileged status is a prime example of their shared values.
Kerr’s humble country upbringing in rural New South Wales (“My parents bought the cheapest house in Gunnedah,” she says) bears little resemblance to the rarefied Los Angeles milieu her sons now inhabit. The contrast isn’t lost on her. “My husband and I talk about this all the time. It’s something we’re deeply conscious of.” Each morning while driving the boys to school, she asks them to name three things they are grateful for – a small deliberate ritual intended to counterbalance the bubble. “We’ve explained this isn’t a normal life,” she says. “We’re blessed.”
