TEMS At Obama Presidential Center Opening June 19, 2026

Tems performed at the opening of the Obama Presidential Center, the newest cultural landmark in the Hyde Park neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side. The Center will serve as a vibrant community hub, including a museum, gardens, event space, athletic facilities, a branch of the Chicago Public Library, and more.

Anne and her cousin Jo have plans to spend several days at the Obama center next spring 2027.

Our beloved-on-AOC president could barely contain his emotions, and Michelle did step in to keep things moving on stage. President Obama had no idea this Acne Studios skirt moment was coming. For a man knowing well how to execute decisions and unexpected crisis with a calm demeanor, the president was just totally blindsided and visibly struggled to maintain his composure before the crowd. Which just makes him totally human and refreshingly honest.
