Polo Ralph Lauren FW 2024 'Ralph's New York' Campaign by Lachlan Bailey

Polo Ralph Lauren [IG] returns to home base for its Fall 2024 campaign. New York is the city that launched Ralph and his men’s ties, made by Beau Brummell, in 1967. Menswear followed shortly, launched in 1968.

Bloomingdale’s was home to the first-ever The Polo by Ralph Lauren boutique, opened in 1970 as the first Bloomingdale’s space dedicated to a single designer.

All of these sentiments and many more infuse the new Polo Ralph Lauren campaign lensed by Lachlan Bailey [IG], with film produced by Jacob Sutton.

The campaign features both the men’s and women’s collections and showcases landmarks like Central Park and the Empire State Building.

If you’re a sentimentalist about New York City, your chest will tighten when the campaign video plays Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind” sung by Alicia Keys, another New York native. Sigh.

“I have always been inspired by New York City. It’s a place of beautiful contradictions, of timelessness, magic, luxury and aspiration,” said Lauren the founder, executive chairman and chief creative officer of Ralph Lauren Corp. “It has a culture and style all its own. It’s my city — where I first started, where dreams are made and come true. There is no other city like it in the world.”

A large cast of models are featured in the Ralph Lauren Polo campaign: Cheikh Dia; Devyn Garcia; Hamid Onifadé; Isak Jawo; Kaan Canbulat; Lulu Tenney; Matthew Noszka; Maty Fall; Taylor Hill and Thatcher Thornton. Michel Botbol styles the cast, with hair by Shay Ashual and makeup by Mark Carrasquillo.

These pieces have been found and refurbished by experts within the Ralph Lauren organization. The intention is to update the collections monthly — yes, as a business unit — but also as a superb, high-value, smile-worthy Ralph Lauren values story. Excellent!
