Bottega Veneta Fall 2022 Fashion Story in Manifesto 88 by Georgia Devy Smith

Matthieu Blazy was named creative director of Bottega Veneta, after Daniel Lee’s abrupt exit from the brand in November 2021. Lee is now at Burberry]. Bottega was in a strong upwards trajectory when Blazy went to work, and his first Fall 2022 collection had very strong reviews.

Manifesto Magazine #88 October 2022 focuses on a select group of designer collections and Bottega Veneta is one of them. Models Momo Ndiaye and Xia Yuancen pose in key pieces from the Fall 2022 collection in a fashion story styled by Thea Lewis-Yates. London-based photographer Georgia Devy Smith [IG] captures the duo in a new again Bottega Veneta described by Matthieu Blazy in this way:

“The idea was to bring back energy, a silhouette that really expressed motion, because Bottega is a bag company, so you go somewhere, you don’t stay home. This collection basically is a journey,” he continued. “There’s many characters, they all have places to go, they feel quite free.”
