Mario Sorrenti is behind the lens , photographing Hailey with a welcome dose of throwback sensual images that now have a classic quality. Time has that effect! Mike Sager interviews the star in “Hailey Bieber on Love, Fame and Online Hate.

Reading Hailey Bieber’s interview, AOC must ask “What would happen to all the paparrazi photographers and their copyright trol lawyers if stars like Bieber really do carry forward with wearing a face mask post-COVID?” The star tells Sager:

“Obviously, sometimes it can be a little frustrating, having to breathe my same air and wear this everywhere,” she says. “But one thing I do like is that the paparazzi can’t see your face. I’m a young woman, and it’s very weird having all these grown men following you around all the time. I’m still not used to it, and I don’t think I ever should be used to it, because it’s weird and not normal. Honestly, I may never stop wearing the mask in public, let’s just put it that way.”

Hailey Bieber doesn’t only hit back at paparazzi photographers. Totally hounded as Mrs. Justin Bieber, the online, social media trolling became so acute that Bieber decided to turn off public comments on her Instagram.

Today, only people Hailey follows have commenting privileges on her photos.

"I remember someone telling me that [turning off the public comments] really lowers your engagement. And I was like, ‘I could give a fuck about engagement! People are terrorizing me. Engagement, enschagement. I don’t care!’ ”

Anne: I note that AOC turned off comments and I left Twitter in 2012 over the same problem. The vile comments from right-wing men from America to Saudi Arabia became terrifying. Having been in police protection for a year with some crazy, right-wing, uber-Christian dude trying to kill me for supporting Planned Parenthood, I wasn’t messing around an longer. Think the Atlanta shooter in the massage parlors this week, snuffing out Asian women as being the ones responsible for his sex addiction problem.

Until copyright troll lawyer Steven Doniger decided to publish my (no-longer) address all over the Internet last August in his federal lawsuit, I felt relatively safe. Not now. Doniger and August Image have made it their business to out me without even the courtesy of an email. In my opinion, these are the hyper aggressive actions of take-no-prisoners alpha males — whether they are paparazzi photographers, copyright trolls or guys with guns.
