Megyn Kelly 'Today' Show Ratings Are Down 32% Against Last Year's Timeslot

Megyn Kelly 'Today' show rating are not good.

Megyn Kelly is destroying NBC's morning ratings. I've been somewhat neutral on Kelly until a close friend reminded me that Kelly went crazy over the black Santa Claus fiasco a couple years back. Anybody who says Santa Claus is a white dude only is off my shopping list.

Given that 1/3 of the post 9am Today hour is women of color -- already aggravated about the departure of Tamron Hall -- Today should not be surprised that the Megyn Kelly hire could go down as a mega mistake. Not a maga win -- a mega mistake. Today show ladies like black Santas and know that Jesus wasn't lily white either. Jesus had olive skin. What can I tell you!!

Note that Tamron Hall's new show was in development with Harvey Weinstein. Inquiring minds want to know, but I think Tamron would whack him where it hurts.

“Not only are ratings plummeting since Megyn Kelly joined the ‘Today’ franchise, but the numbers show Kelly’s lead-in has also affected Kathie Lee [Gifford] and Hoda Kotb’s show, which follows straight afterwards,” a source told Page Six. 

Kelly's hour of 'Today' is down 32% compared to a year ago. And 'Kathie Lee & Hoda' is down 26%.
