Cho Yeo-Jeong Dresses COVID-19 Style as W Magazine Lives on Life Support
South Korean actor Cho Yeo-Jeong, best known for her role as Mrs. Park in the 2019 Academy Award-winning film ‘Parasite’ is styled for life in our COVID-19 world. W Magazine on Life Support
Future Media Group announced recently that it was considering the future of its W Magazine, having put it on hiatus and furloughing the majority of its staff. In an interview with the New York Times, Marc Lotenberg, chief executive of Future Media, said that "the bottom has dropped out of the luxury market" and the magazine's dramatic cuts are the result.
Condé Nast, struggling with enormous overhead and declining ad revenue, unloaded the long-troubled W Magazine to Future Media in June 2019. While COVID-19 may be nail in W Magazine’s coffin, so to speak, Lotenberg acknowledged that the magazine was behind in payments to vendors and Condé Nast itself before COVID-19 turned the publishing world upside down.
