ELLE India’s Editor-in-Chief Supriya Dravid introduces Christy, finding deeply-personal common ground with around the topic of maternal health. Like Christy — who is now devoted to maternal health with her Every Mother Counts activist organization — Supriya Dravid suffered postpartum haemorrhage when her daughter Meera was born in 2016.

Both women could have easily died, and they are joined by Serena Williams, who came perilously close to losing her life in the birth of her beloved daughter Olympia.
