Speaking of boss lady handbags, China’s Jing Daily shared 21 luxury market brand projections for 2021 and beyond, written by prominent market analyst Erwan Rambourg. In the top position is “the limited number of top female executives in the sector.” Rambourg writes:
“Luxury has long been driven by a macho culture, but there is no scarcity of female talent in the industry. In the next ten years, I predict that the majority of board members and at least 25 percent of brand CEOs will be female.”
Probably the biggest understatement in the Vanity Fair Italia fashion story are the Prada headbands.
In case you’ve slept through the biggest fashion statement of the last week, poet Amanda Gorman inspired the world with her Joe Biden/Kamala Harris 2021 Inauguration Day poem ‘The Hill We Climb’.
Gorman has a close relationship with Prada Group, having hosted a panel at the luxury brand’s fall 2019 ‘Shaping a Sustainable Society conference. Gorman’s yellow coat was also a gift from Prada, with Gorman joining the luxury brand virtually in its online Spring 2021 presentation.
