PURE LOVE & DIVINE RADIANCE is on the way. Michelle Obama has a new free podcast on Spotify starting July 29. A vessel of true goodness is about to enter our lives again, as embodied by this 2015 image of the Obama family and the nation’s esteemed and beloved Congressman memorialized all weekend, John Lewis.

According to a press release from Spotify, the podcast will "bring listeners the former first lady’s most candid and personal conversations, showing us what’s possible when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, to open up, and to focus on what matters most".

Topics covered will range from the pandemic to racism and will be rich in “deep dive” interviews with notable guest figures. with family, friends and colleagues with the goal of promoting “empathy and understanding”.

Michelle Obama’s memoir “Becoming” was the bestselling book of 2018, selling nearly 3.5 million copies. It will be so good to have the former First Lady’s voice in our lives again. Our ravaged by Trump souls are in desperate need of unadulterated goodness and high ideals.

The podcast is part of a collab between Spotify and Higher Ground, the Obamas’ production company formed in also partnership with Netflix. "American Factory," the first title from Higher Ground, won the Academy Award for best documentary feature at the 2020 Oscars.

When the Obamas announced their new relationships with Netflix and Spotify in June 2019, Barack Obama said in the press release: “We’ve always believed in the value of entertaining, thought-provoking conversation. It helps us build connections with each other and open ourselves up to new ideas.
