InStyle's Julia von Boehm Donates Styling Sessions to Benefit COVID-19 Charities

InStyle Fashion Director and stylist to Nicole Kidman Julia von Boehm is “offering video styling sessions for $300 or $600 to benefit three charities that are helping amid the coronavirus pandemic” writes The Hollywood Reporter.

Von Boehm is offering 30-minute or 60-minute sessions for a $300 or $600 donation, respectively. The sessions are conducted on Zoom, where von Boehm is donating 100% of the proceeds to COVID-19 efforts. She’s accepting appointments through April 6.

The client chooses one of three organizations to receive their donation: World Kitchen Center (perhaps World Central Kitchen? ), World Health Organization Covid-19 Response Fund or Center for Disaster Philanthropy Covid-19 Response Fund.

Von Boehm recommends selecting a few key items to get started — a favorite: outdoor jacket, outdoor coat, must-have long sleeve shirt, short sleeve shirt, blazer, jeans, pants, skirt and dress, as well as pairs of heels and flats.

The stylist chats with THR about Nicole Kidman being her only Red Carpet client. The two met on shoots for Jimmy Choo and Harper’s Bazaar. “I owe her a lot, in a way, because she taught me how to do the celebrity styling side of things, which I had never done before I met her. So I like to give her exclusivity.”
