Ascia Al Faraj, also known as Ascia AKF, is a leader of the pack of influencers promoting modest fashion with a streetwear edge. Writing for Fashionista, Whitney Bauck talks frankly with Ascia about redefining Muslim fashion, how K-beauty changed her life and what the West doesn't understand about Arab women.
With 2.3 million followers on Instagram, Faraj strikes "the coveted perfect balance between aspirational and relatable" writes Bauck. James, who appeared in 'Baby Driver' and 'Darkest Hour' is in negotiations to star in Danny Boyle's untitled comedy for Universal and Working Title. Lily has been on a roll "since nabbing the lead in Disney’s live-action remake of Cinderella in 2015", writes THR. Last year James starred opposite Ansel Elgort in Edgar Wright’s acclaimed thriller Baby Driver, and she appeared in the Winston Churchill biopic Darkest Hour.
"The piece of advice I’d give my younger self would be exactly the same advice I’d give to myself now, which is not to always feel like you have to be something, or try and hide what you are or how you’re feeling," Lily James tells readers of Harper's UK.
