On March 7, Louis Vuitton presented its Fall-Winter 2022 collection at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, marking the first time the Beaux-Arts style museum hosted a fashion show.
“I am truly grateful to be able to present my new collection at the Musée d’Orsay which has always been a genuine source of inspiration for me,” Vuitton’s artistic director of women’s collections, Nicolas Ghesquière said in advance of the fashion show event. In announcing a formal and future relationship with the museum, Ghesquière lauded its “bold architecture” and its collections, including the world’s largest collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist art.
