Benjamin Franklin's Abortion Recipe Math Book Would Be Banned in Today's Red America
/America’s Very Famous Founding Father Benjamin Franklin’s Books Would Be Banned in 2022
Benjamin Franklin’s books would be banned in Republican states. The Founding Father put a recipe for an at-home abortion in his math book. He was not alone either, in putting abortion recipes in school books, according to Slate.
For my international friends, Benjamin Franklin was an original drafter and signatory of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. The French adored him.
AOC is not making a joke of Benjamin Franklin’s beliefs. But to be lied to day after day by the pro-birthers, that abortion was not widely-practiced and legal in America insults our intelligence.
The US Supreme Court draft leaked as the Alito opinion was written to strike down at the end of June 2022 the 1973 Roe v. Wade opinion legalizing abortion rights in America. It’s filled with the same fairytale narrative about America’s relationship with abortion that I’ve heard for years.
Abortion Was Widely Practiced in America until 1860 and It's Not Mentioned in the Bible AOC She
I chose not to change one word of the text of a 2011 essay written on this topic of the history of abortion. Facts do not matter in the pro-birth community, a reality that goes against every action that I’ve taken in my life around truthful reporting and a regard for scientific inquiry. People like me are called elitist and living with a sense of superiority because I have no respect for people like Justice Alito — who have no regard for facts. He has an objective of ending abortion rights in America and however he achieves that goal is more important than historical truth.
What the opinion reveals is Alito’s faith in people like Sir Matthew Hale, who sentenced American women to death as ‘witches.’ Hale’s misogyny is legendary among women familiar with early American history.
There’s nothing to do but weep and VOTE them out, reading the words of men admired by today’s Republicans.
As for America’s founding father Benjamin Franklin, the Republicans would lock him up today!!! And the Catholic Church would poison him. Today’s Republican Supreme Court Justices seem to want to take us back to the Dark Ages, when Benjamin Franklin insisted that religious beliefs be subject to validation with scientific experimentation.
Enlightenment thinking such as Franklin's was based on science and reason — a worthy goal that we share, while admitting that scientific reasoning is subject to its own biases. Franklin was acutely aware of bias and how the brain can create its own narrative.
