Devyn, Doutzen, Imaan, Lily, Mayowa: New Body by Victoria 2024 Campaign
/Models Devyn Garcia, Doutzen Kroes, Imaan Hammam, Lily Aldridge and Mayowa Nicholas invite us into Victoria’s Secret 7.0, or whatever version we’on at this point. Anne is totally lost.
It’s great, though to see such a high-quality cast assembled on behalf of the new Body by Victoria 2024 Campaign.[IG]
The Invisible Lift Minimizer Bra and the Demi Bra are crafted with LYCRA® FitSense™ technology and Infinity Edge padding. The result is a flatter, more supportive fit with comfort at the forefront from A-G.

For people who don’t follow my alma mater as closely as I do, Victoria’s Secret has done another about face — although we don’t really know what is a word salad anymore, and what is high-value strategic thinking from this once great lingerie brand.
We also don’t yet know the annual results for VS, which had another very tough year in revenue and profitability. Those results will become public on March 7, 2024.
To reaffirm, we have not one negative word to say about this campaign for Body by Victoria’s new Invisible Lift technology. Experience support just where you need it, without an ounce of padding. The entire campaign staff are A-listers, and so is the imagery.
Victoria’s Secret brand president Greg Unis expressed an enlightened view of the situation last October, making the grand pronouncement that Anne has written 100x in the last eight years. “Sexiness can be inclusive,” Unis expressed to press and financial journalists. “Sexiness can celebrate the diverse experiences of our customers and that’s what we’re focused on.”
It seemed that the global fashion show documentary did not fare particularly well, as VS chief executive Martin Waters said — speaking about a list of VS actions to reinvigorate the entire business, not only the fashion show: “Despite everyone’s best endeavours, it’s not been enough to carry the day.”
So let’s see what the actual financial statistics are in the Victoria’s Secret business, reported in three weeks on March 7.
To me the biggest risk for Victoria’s Secret at this point is that we just don’t care anymore. VS swung so far afield on diversity and inclusion that I actually gasped — and not in a good way — visiting the website the week before Christmas. I left immediately, feeling caught totally off guard. Every ounce of sex appeal drained from my body in an instant. I was also angry that I was left feeling badly over my reaction.
The good news for VS is that I can’t explain why I was so disturbed — like it’s immoral or something. The bad news for VS is that of all the problems in the world, not being ‘woke’ enough for Victoria’s Secret is the least of my concerns.
Personally, I think the VS website probably jolted many potential customers the week before Christmas — especially men. I have no more patience for the brand.
SKIMS is blazing and seems to know exactly where it’s going. SAVAGE X FENTY by Rihanna is clear about direction and is backed by L Catterton, the LVMH early-investment arm. Rihanna stepped down as CEO last year, replaced by Hillary Super, the former CEO of Anthropologie Group.
There are additional lingerie players on the list with great options. Viva lingerie!!! ~ Anne
