Cardi B Wears Cultural Ambassador Style in Vogue Arabia September
Writing Vogue Arabia’s September 2026 editor’s letter for the Cardi B cover story, shot by Szilveszter Makó, Manuel Arnault had expressed confidence for months that Cardi B would close out the upcoming MDLBeast Sandstorm festival in Riyah without a hitch. She did.
Turning to Instagram to say ‘hello’ to fans in Saudi Arabia, as she touched down on Saudi soil..
Posting on Instagram a video of her arrival, wearing a black abaya-style gown, Cardi B established contact :
"Hello Saudi Arabia... Halal B has arrived."
TEMS At Obama Presidential Center Opening June 19, 2026
Tems performed at the opening of the Obama Presidential Center, the newest cultural landmark in the Hyde Park neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side.
Here’s a taste of just one interview of the Obamas by MSNOW Senior Contributing Editor Michele Norris with Michelle Obama. They discuss the moment when President Obama was caught totally off guard by Michelle Obama’s skirt.
President Obama had no idea this Acne Studios skirt moment, featuring the image of his deceased mother-in-law was coming. As for interviewer Michele Norris, it’s her grandmother Ione Hopson Brown that was the Aunt Jemima Anne adored as a young girl. Does this true story become complicated? Indeed it does. And Anne dives in head first.
Karen Mulder Covers Vogue Germany 30 Years Later with a Focus on Model Abuse
1990s supermodel Karen Mulder covers the September 2026 issue of Vogue Germany [IG], 30 years after being iced by the fashion industry over her claims of widespread model abuse. She is styled by Dogukan Nesanir in images by Sean+Seng [IG].
Three decades ago, Karen Mulder made shocking claims of abuse against the fashion industry and its treatment of models. Interviewed for a French talk show, the Dutch super ended up in a psychiatric hospital resulting from her commentary, which never aired on television or to the general public.
Mulder’s return, with the full support of Vogue Germany, coincides with the Epstein case drama in America and a rash of new rape and assault complaints [some repeats] filed in Paris in July.
AOC raises new concerns about the staggering depth of physical assault involved in the alleged events. If these are the men amongst us — in our own industry — what does it say that after 30 years, there is no consensus around truth and justice due — if any?
A Sultry Aylah Peterson for Wallpaper + Musings on Male Designers
Aylah Peterson is styled by Jason Hughes in a sumptuous fashion story with strong woman looks from top designers. Parisian photographers Antoine and Charlie [IG] capture Peterson for Wallpaper Magazine [IG] September 2026 focus on fall fashion.
Raw, Real Desire to Fly
This is one of those high-impact, sophisticated fashion stories that AOC loves. In the featured shot — Aylah Peterson’s eyes, the tilt of her head and face is both honest and compelling. In the text for this story by Jack Moss, he gives high praise to Blazy for being so attuned to his clients, which are primarily women.
Blazy has said — probably in the notes for the A/W 2026 show with the caterpillar and the butterfly —
‘Chanel is a paradox. Chanel is function, Chanel is fiction. Chanel is sensible, Chanel is seductive. Chanel is day, Chanel is night. It represents the freedom to choose between the caterpillar and the butterfly whenever you want,’ he said. ‘I wish to create a canvas for women to be unapologetically who they are and who they want to be.’
