What If We All Become Calendar Cupcakes?

Anne here, and my mind is in HIGH gear. I’ve posted previously about the British West End hit comedy Calendar Girls, the true story of ‘real’ British women who launched a tasteful nude calendar to raise money for lukemia research in England.

Originally scheduled for about a three-month run, it seems that the show continues full steam at London’s Noel Coward Theatre, where a new cast takes over on Nov. 3.

Today’s Daily Mail UK has a photo of Kelly Brook, looking every bit the cupcake coquette. Brook is joining Calendar Girls after getting unceremoniously axed as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, apparently for upsetting judges Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Bare with me now. You have no way of knowing this, but my story Rachel Kramer Bussel’s Light Seduction Valentine’s Day Cupcakes & Sexy, Spanking Erotica is a consistently strong read at A of C.

Consider also that supporting women internationally is a high priority in our growing A of C ‘women’s club’, which is probably about 40% male. Globally, many men are committed to unfettering women.

I love the idea of Anne of Carversville launching our own “calendar” girls, “cupcake erotica” concept, inviting women and men (???) to submit cupcake photos, recipes and a sexy tale, or two, in an ongoing fundraiser for poor women.

Let’s take the idea of having our sensuality ‘monitored’ so many places in the world, and use it for a good purpose.  You must admit, this is a totally delicious idea. If you’re interested in helping me launch such an idea, drop me a note in the Contact Anne box above.
