New Los Angeles based pastry shop Fruute is a sensory feast for mouth and eyes. Almost as if inspired by the Japanese mantra that less is more, the bite-sized tarts at Fruute, located next to Pavillions, has 16 flavors that change with the seasons.

Fruute Tarts hired Ferro Concrete to brand this precious bakery concept. These deserts inspire on so many levels beyond food, including beauty and sensuality. Visually the Fruute Tarts conjure up visions similar to Laduree.

Ferro Concrete created a comprehensive identity system that was applied across multiple brand touch points, including store design, interior and environmental design, website and packaging. The shop aesthetic itself is a bit overly functional for my taste, but the tarts are a sumptuous visual extravaganza.
