There are editorial posting days that seem more controversial than others. Today has been one of them. If you haven’t noticed the article about Lindsay Lohan on the cover of  the French magazine ‘Purple’ , she has caused a lot of controvery for her blasphemous cover, in which she appears in a pose similar to Jesus.

No comment from me on the taste level of the photo. The point of my Trend Dots post is that French fashion editorial is frequently political, as are the French.

Keeping things simple, the French (and most Europeans) believe Americans are very hypocritical, promoting values of freedom, free speech and human rights … but we have fits and want to legislate a cover such as this one.
