Andrej Pejic & Marlon Teixeira Front Fiasco's September 2011 Sensuality Issue

I don’t normally comment on covers, but these Fiasco Magazine September 2011 covers featuring models Andrej Pejic and Marlon Teixeira, lensed by Anthony Meyer,  are terrific. I’ve never seen to many crucifixes in my career, as I’ve observed in the last few months.

Never have I had so many private conversations about a mood in the wind — not only about sensuality — but about the intersection of religion and sexuality. Smart Sensuality fashion professionals are stepping out, leaving me grateful for their support in boldly articulating these concepts.

It’s time to face the facts. American domestic and foreign policy is being strategized around concepts of the anti-Christ and Armageddon — not the Michael Bay kind — but the real deal, the grand religious blowout that kills us all, so the chosen people rise again.

Never did I think that the NYT would have to be explaining to the American people these concepts that are dominating the headlines around American policy.

Controlling our sexuality and our spirits — and literally our bodies if you’re a woman or gay — is job #1.

So yes — all my writing about Andrej Pejic is primarily focused on the evolution of gender fluidity in the 21st century. But don’t kid yourself … the religious authorities and the social conservatives are nipping at our heels — and Andrej’s, too. Anne
