Afghan Women in Proactive Mood, but Voting Subject to Different Media Reports

In some parts of Afghanistan, women represented 60 percent of yesterday’s vote, although not in the Taliban-rich south. News organizations reports that overall, women in Afghanistan are desperately afraid of losing the precious new rights they’re gained since the 2001 US invasion of Afghanistan.
