A Glass Half Full | Dita Von Teese | Perrier

For starters, we love Dita Von Teese. She can do little wrong in our playbook. Watching the PerrierbyDita.com website, we’re fine.

Whatever works for Dita. The bottled water market is under assault by environmentalists and water quality testing of high-end water’s lack of — well —  quality water. It’s a logical move by Perrier to be haute, when times are tough.

The imagery on PerrierbyDita.com is … well, very Dita … who is always perfectly turned out as an ultimate seductress beloved by young women as much or more than men.

Dita von Teese keeps the magic going in a Perrier video. We’ve seen better but no problem. The video isn’t embeddable, making viral difficult.

And now we get to the cans. Sorry, dreadful! Impossibly dreadful, and I don’t care if it is French. They rarely make mistakes, but this sinks into the stinky water reports the fizzy stuff is getting these days.

Let me drop in this Schweppes vintage bottle campaign. These graphics are so much better. Alas, I wasn’t consulting on the project.

Canada’s Bottle Water Fouled with Bacteria   We quote:

If you think bottled water is bacteria-free, think again. Your tap water could be healthier. Researchers in Montreal found that heterotrophic bacteria counts, in more than 70 percent of bottled water samples, exceed the recommended limits specified by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP).
