Yesterday was an interesting convergence for Anne. Carrie Leigh’s NUDE magazine has gone to press, with an in-depth interview with Anne on her Victoria’s Secret years and marketing sensuality to today’s women.
In New Eroticism artistry Anne talks about the sexual politics of reaching women’s psyches and the place of wings in our lives. We showcase NSFW video of a new website CafeGlow, making its web debut in early 2011. The short video confirms the New Eroticism trend that Anne has tracked for a long time now, and features the Annie Lennox song ‘No More I Love You’s’, which was played at the first Victoria’s Secret show, when Anne was the Fashion Director.

Fashion and eroticism are engaging in a dance today. Among young people, there’s no turning back from this evolution of sensuality, unless the global morality police intervene. Elle Muliarchyk’s lovely short film ‘Metamorphosis’ is a great example of fashion and sensuality converging, inspired by DVF designs.
Increasingly, sponsors are encouraging artists, often in abstract and low-profile patron relationships, rather than art being created strictly to promote the sponsor — which is the American way.

We love to see women taking charge of their own sensual being. Both Ellen Von Unwerth the photographer and Marion Cotillard the actress and model understand the layers of nuance the comprise female sexuality.
Beauty, good morals and sensuality DO live cohesively in a single woman. It is our mission to advance that thinking for American women, in particular. For all our status in the world, we remain challenged to find sensual expression in our lives.
Neither American business or religion is on our side in a healthy exploration of self and sensuality.
