NOW: Dan Beleiu’s career as a photographer required another look from AOC yesterday, when we posted his role behind the lens in the Nike SS2024 campaign.

Beleiu rarely shoots images from afar, although he did so here in ‘Girl From The West’. His image signature is up front and personal, and shot from some amazing angles. Beleiu’s images are dynamic with multicultural, modern young people ‘on the road’ energy. Dan shoots joy into a world in serious need of a heavy dose.

Young people adore Dan — and that includes Zara kids. Our Nike post, coupled with this 2022 Zara kids campaign, are good examples of Dan’s magic.

Clients frequently compliment creative teams on IG. But the typical words are ‘Great day with you guys!’

As a businessperson first and foremost, I found the comment from Nike creative producer Therese Trikilis to be very deliberate. She understands what her words mean to young teams working so hard in a very competitive environment.

“You and your team are absolute magicians! Loved working with you and can’t wait for the next one!”

For creative executive types like myself, the stature of both Nike executives —creative leader Ayca Acun [IG] and Therese Trikilis [IG] — soared when I read that comment. Nike is lucky to have both women onboard. ~ Anne
