Amber Valletta in Menswear for Harper's Bazaar Spain October 2017 by Greg Kadel
/Supermodel Amber Valletta covered the October 2017 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Espana, suiting up in menswear tailoring, styled by Beatriz Moreno de la Cova. Yellow was not the cover color, noted in Valletta’s two covers below with one suit in emerald green and the other black.
Yellow hues — especially buttery ones — are a warm, neutral color in Spring 2026 runway collections. If you believe in reverse psychology, the color yellow commands attention from the brain, stimulating positive emotions like happiness and optimism.
Today’s color research has much more science behind it. While it’s very expensive, brain scans can and do confirm or negate specific color impact theories.
Equally important, yellow can spark intellectual activity and new ideas in the brain, a key reason why Prada used yellow lavishly in the Spring 2026 collection, often mixing it against black. Check out the new Prada collection on Vogue Runway.
