Miranda speaks positively about the business philosophy behind her company Kora Organics: "My whole philosophy is to uplift people. Everything has a positive intention behind it." This commitment counterbalanced the Aussie girl's reality that she hasn't always been lucky in love.
Miranda shares her deep grief over the death of her first boyfriend, Christopher Middlebrook, who died in a car accident. "I was depressed and went to a few therapists, but then I realized the only person who could help me was myself." Other high-profile relationships followed.
Reflecting on her divorce from actor Orlando Bloom in 2013, the former Victoria's Secret Angel insists she remains a hopeless romantic. "You can't close yourself off from love," she says. "I try to keep my heart open and not feel afraid."
Today, Miranda's feeling much luckier in love, thanks to Snapchat co-founder and billionaire Evan Spiegel. "He's 25, but he acts like he's 50. He's not out partying. He goes to work in Venice [Beach]. He comes home. We don't go out," she says of her low-key life with the mogul. "We'd rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early." As to their seven-year age difference, Flynn's mom admits it has its benefits.
