Elle Macpherson Is Fabulous At 50, Lensed By Randall Slavin For Ocean Drive Magazine

Elle Macpherson delivers an amazing set of images for Ocean Drive Magazine, lensed by Randall Slavin, complete with interview. Her move to Miami and 2013 marriage are a conscious move to create a new life at 50.

“For starters, I have no apartment in New York—I’ve sold it—and I don’t have real estate in London either, so this is a very different experience, settling here with a family, consciously.” Husband Jeffrey Soffer, the billionaire realtor whom she married last July in Fiji after dating since 2009, is practically Miami royalty; he owns the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and his family business, Turnberry, developed Aventura. “My greatest gift is my husband who I adore and our family; we have five children between us in different parts of the country, and life is rich and fulfilling and sometimes really hectic.”

The duo had separated in 2012, but Elle found herself jetting into Miami to be at Soffer’s side after he narrowly escaped death in a horrible helicopter crash that killed his best friend Lance Valdez.

Updated July 9, 2025. The couple split in 2017, reportedly due to Macpherson’s decision to pursue a holistic approach to treating her breast cancer. Elle refused chemotherapy and pursued an alternative path. Over a decade later, ‘The Body’ is alive and well, featured today in AOC Fashion: Elle Macpherson Covers ELLE Spain July 2025 as Style Awards 2025 by Xavi Gordo as Style Awards

Having lost a dear friend who pursued exactly the same path, AOC wants to be clear that we do not endorse or promote Macpherson’s course of action. We defer to medical experts on this difficult medical decision for women and the loves of their lives from husbands and partners to children, friends and extended family. Anne begged her friend to consider traditional treatment, but it was much too late when she finally got her to a doctor in Phoenix, losing her within a month.
