Peter Farago & Ingela Klemetz-Farago | 'Nordic women in Chanel'

Smug magazine #4 published some of the images featured in ‘Northern Women in CHANEL, the culmination of a lifelong project of photographer Peter Farago and stylist Inela Klemetz-Farago to photograph classic creations by Chanel. Others are featured on the Fotografiska Museet website, where the exhibition will run from July 1-September 11, 2011 inside Stora Tullhuset, on the docks of Stadsgården in Stockholm.

Several well-known models from the Scandinavian and Baltic countries, such as Freja Beha Erichsen, Helena Christensen, Iselin Steiro, Edita Vilkeviciute, Sigrid Ågren, Suvi Koponen, Kirsi Phyronen, Carmen Kass, Siri Tollerod and Caroline Winberg took part in the project developed in close co-operation with Chanel. Every creation and surrounding were chosen specifically for each model.

Peter Farago was born in Hungary and started taking photos when he was four years old. Among other things he has done several covers for Russian Vogue. Ingela Klemetz-Farago comes from the music industry, but she soon started working as a stylist together with her husband Peter Farago. The couple works from Stockholm, New York and Paris. via
