Anne was bad today, but Unite Women.org had it coming. Can you believe this nonsense!! Around noon on Facebook Blue Menu Politics after seeing the gem above, I wrote:

Wow! I hate to get all political on Thanksgiving, but I just left a comment on this UniteWomen.org share, and it was removed. My thoughts were totally vanilla and factual. I know it was posted because of an immediate like, but down it came .right after.

In a week where the topic of conversation is Donald Trump's autocratic manipulation of the media, Ms Anne Enke, one of the admins for Blue Menu Politics, was just silenced by UniteWomen.org. Interesting!

This is what I wrote -- to paraphrase:

What Is Nancy Pelosi -- Goose Liver?

"It would be nice if Nancy Pelosi replaced one of the white dudes at this Thanksgiving table. It has even less representation for women than our US Congress and worse still, Congressional Democrats.

We Democrats think we are so progressive!!!

I don't mean to be a killjoy on Thanksgiving, but American women's representation in legislative bodies has sunk to about #66 globally, a loss of 40 places or so in 5 years. Looking at a visual like this one gets very exhausting after all these decades.

I also won't go into who is wearing the suit and tie, and who is wearing the apron. For the woman who is on the record saying she hates to bake, this is interesting. Not to worry, she will roast him.

Now was that so bad, it warranted being censored by an organization that is called UniteWomen.org? Maybe they're on board for Bernie and his Boys club, and I am just clueless. I will have to come up with some "mother knows best" retro recipes tomorrow.

No more zingers on Thanksgiving but I am a bit speechless being shut down for calling out a few simple facts about this Norman Rockwell vision of American politics. Without Obama, it would be a warm and cozy vision of 'America the Beautiful' presented the old-fashioned way, which is clearly how lots of American women want it, I guess. UniteWomen.org would know.

Actually, there was quite a bustle going on behind the scenes and in about 15-20 minutes, version two made its appearance. LOL. In fact, I never suggested that Bernie be thrown out of the picture, and we all agreed that Hillary should roast The Donald because 1) she will should Trump get the nomination or run as an Independent; and 2) the way Bernie yells and throws his arms up in the air all the time, he really shouldn't be carving the turkey. Somebody could get hurt. Still it was nice to see Nancy get an invite after I kicked some turkey butt to arrange it.
