Smart Sensuality Women Are Sensual, Smart, Spiritual With Heart and A Global Perspective
/
On truly rare occasions, a fashion editorial emerges that showcases brilliantly the mood and message of Anne of Carversville. Bosung Kim’s images of Ji Hye Park for the June issue of Vogue Korea are spellbinding in their beauty, sensual provocation and connecting the dots of a Smart Sensuality woman’s perspective. We’re missing a slide on philanthropy, but I can easily fill in the empty space.
The Smart Sensuality woman is sensual, smart and spiritual — with a lot of heart. Her perspective is global and deeply rooted in respect for Mother Nature as the source of true beauty and inspiration for all people. Books and digital learning, artistry and an appreciation for other cultures are key to her being.
Fundamental to her identity is empathy and caring about the lives of others. In her heart the Smart Sensuality woman respects traditional values that do not put women in chains, including a strong appreciation for family, friendships and community. Her vision of life is romantic, positive and determined to be of service — and she does so without foresaking her essence as a woman who appreciates style and physicality.
Styled by Seo Young Hui, this Bosung Kim editorial is a fabulous statement about my own values and beliefs, and a determination to fight the forces that destroy — rather than celebrate learning, accomplishment and enlightenment among all people, everywhere in the world.
Mother Nature teaches us that there is no one supreme culture or civilization. The history of humankind s rich in global traditions and national achievement. The Smart Sensuality person understands this reality of life and moves to enrich our planet and all our people through service to others, artistry, intelligent communications, respect for nature and a love of learning.
Thanks so much Ji Hye Park, Bosung Kim, Seo Young Hui and Vogue Korea for giving me ‘One Dream’. It’s an editorial that I will treasure long into the future.
I have always had a special relationship with the people of South Korea, having spent countless months of my life there as head of product development and the fashion director for Victoria’s Secret. I always sought to nurture the innate creativity of the people across Asia, but my work in South Korea was intense and constant. My heart is overflowing with the beauty delivered today, the gorgeous visual gift the Internet allows us to share with all the peoples of the world. ~ Anne
