‘Plan A’: A True Story of Holocaust Revenge
Hoeks is best known internationally for her roles in ‘Blade Runner’ and ‘The Girl in the Spider’s Web’. The trailer for her new project, a Holocaust revenge drama named ‘Plan A’, was released at the end of July. Plan A also stars August Diehl of ‘A Hidden Life’, and ‘Inglourious Basterds’., Nikolai Kinski of ‘The Barbarians’ and Michael Aloni of ‘Shitsel’.
Set in Germany in 1945, the film is based on the book ‘Nakam’ by Israeli historian Dina Porat. The directors of ‘Plan A’ say that have interviewed the real-life conspirators who conceived a plan of monstrous revenge against the German people for the Holocaust. Called ‘The Avengers’, the Jewish vigilantes plotted to kill 6 million Germans by poisoning the country’s water system.
Variety writes: “In a statement, the directors said that having interviewed the real life conspirators, known as the “The Avengers,” they sought to answer some questions. “Their conflict is the dramatic engine that fascinated us in this story. Are you able to become the monster yourself? Are you able to move on with your life after your entire family was murdered? What is your interpretation of revenge – killing back and destroying? Or celebrating life and building something new?”’

Apple TV writes: “See” takes place in the distant future, after a deadly virus decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind. Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss — the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see — who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen [played by Sylvia Hoeks] who wants the twins destroyed. Alfre Woodard stars as Paris, Baba Voss’s spiritual leader.
