Moncler Grenoble Campaign Highlights Remo Ruffini's Humanist Passion and Purpose
/The recent BFC [British Fashion Council] award to Italian billionaire businessman Remo Ruffini came with the fall 2024 opening of Moncler’s big new emporium on New Bond Street. Ruffini’s friend and collaborator Jony Ive, formerly senior vice president of industrial design and chief design officer at Apple, Inc. was on hand for the celebratory dinner.
Caroline Rush, CEO of the BFC, said Ruffini earned the latest accolade for his efforts in "championing British design talent on the global stage," and setting a new standard for the luxury industry by working with a range of creatives, in particular with Moncler Genius.
The new campaign was shot in the Swiss Alps against the striking backdrop of Zermatt's rugged terrain and introduced Moncler Grenoble’s newest global brand ambassador, World Cup champion slalom skier Lucas Pinheiro Braathen.
Models Yasmin Wijnaldum and He Cong, as well as actor Clément Chabernaud, also appear in the campaign, working with Sorrenti and Ruba Abu-Nimah, currently Brand Creative Director of Moncler.
On December 16th, news broke that for the sixth consecutive year in a row, Moncler Group topped the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for World and Europe in the "textile, apparel & luxury goods" sector.
The Index ranks the leading sustainability-driven companies based on economic, environmental and social responsibility criteria, which are analyzed by top credit ratings provider S&P Global. More than 13,000 firms were assessed in the latest index.
