Keira Knightley Is All In for Chanel, Bashes Celeriac in Harper's UK July 2021

Harper’s UK sits down with Knightley in Suffolk, England’s Wilderness Reserve, the site of her photoshoot. Wilderness Reserve [IG] is a collection of exclusive use country houses, luxury farmhouses and holiday cottages to rent, set on a 8000 acre private estate.
Keira Knightley is the exact opposite of new mom Ashley Graham who told us a year into COVID quarantine that she was still zooming in her underpants. AOC suspects that the ‘Atonement’ actor represents a minority of women saying they wore Chanel every day, along with red lipstick.
The star ran a tight ship with daughters 6-year-old Edie and 1-year-old Delilah and husband James Righton.
“We have a trampoline in our garden, and we decided we were only allowed to wear dresses on it,” Knightley tells Harper’s. Edie had Chanel ribbons plaited into her hair and fairy wings for total effect dressing. Dad Righton was only allowed to bounce around with the ladies when wearing one of his “array of peacock-colored Gucci suits.
“I thought, ‘What is the point of these lovely things sitting in the wardrobe, when it feels quite apocalyptic and scary outside?’ It felt so important to be really happy for the kids!” Knightley explained.
Knightley’s relationship with Chanel dates back to 2007 when she starred in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise. She has worn the clothes on more red carpets than she can remember — including her 2013 wedding to Righton.
The actor is certain to ruffle feathers with her attack against celeriac. LOL. The drama began with Righton deciding that the family should eat only vegetables “sourced from regenerative farms’ as the UK’s second lockdown set in. For explanation, vegenerative vegetables regrow using only water.
“I’m not a big root-veg fan, and in these regenerative boxes we were getting — this is so middle-class, I can’t bear it — there were four celeriac. And I hate celeriac! I didn’t realize I could feel so strongly about a vegetable…”
Enraged when her husband suggested they eat celeriac for dinner instead of ordering takeout, Knightley says she became enraged and hurled the healthy veggie on the kitchen floor. Presumably the lady to the manor born was wearing Chanel while having this tempestuous fit. Did she act out like this in front of the children? All we know is that the story has already traveled to Marie Claire Australia, and — like us — we’re not giving mom any grief over the celeriac.
But Knightley should stay off Twitter before she gets her head cut off with comments like these. Fellow Brit Arizona Muse — a huge advocate of regenerative agriculture — may have something to say about this prima donna meltdown over root vegetables.
Will this be the last installment in The Crown’? We had the tight-lipped Queen Liz for all these years, because this is what happens when commoners command Britain? LOL. Love it. ~ Anne
Take Note: Keira Knightley narrated a 2020 climate crisis film for Extinction Rebellion. I am just amusing myself here.
